Micah Parsons won't have any official video tribute from the Cowboys organization but the pass rusher believes the fans will applaud once he steps onto the field at Arlington.

Micah Parsons produced his best for the Dallas Cowboys during his four-year stint. He won multiple Pro Bowls and All-Pro accolades and constantly remained in the hunt for the Defensive Player of the Year title.
Despite Parsons’ contributions to the Cowboys, the club will not display a video tribute when he steps into AT&T Stadium in week four. Parsons is not upset. He did not expect a tribute from his ex-employers.
There are a lot of things I can consider disrespectful throughout this process, but I wouldn’t say the tribute is one of them. I would say I just think there are hard feelings maybe there for them. But for me, I’m happy where I’m at and we got a really good football team, so I guess I can [receive] my tribute in a win, I hope.

Parsons strongly believes that even after leaving the Dallas franchise following a dispute over his contract, the Cowboys fans still have a soft spot for him.
I think they’re going to give me a good round of applause. There’s no hard feelings there, at least from me, and I think it’s going to be, like I said, it’s going to be a great atmosphere.
Parsons said
Earlier this week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked if he would authorize a special tribute video for Parsons, whom he drafted 12th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jones made it clear that the 26-year-old doesn’t fall into the category of players who deserve a special ovation.
I don’t think that’s appropriate this way. Emmitt [Smith returning to Dallas] was a different story. But that’s not to diminish Micah. I think Micah’s got enough welcome out there. We just need to show we’ve got antidotes for that.
Jerry Jones said
Jones traded Parsons to the Packers in exchange for two first-round draft picks and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark. Parsons signed a four-year, $186 million contract with the NFC North franchise to become the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
Micah Parsons is excited to face off against Dak Prescott
Parsons’ addition elevated the Packers to a title contender. He played a total of 128 snap counts over the three weeks to record 2 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and a PFF grade of 90.1 (4th best among all the pass rushers in the league).

Clearly, Parsons is in a rich vein of form despite the Packers suffering a rare defeat against the Cleveland Browns last week. In Dallas, he will come face-to-face with Dak Prescott, a quarterback whom Parsons thinks very highly of.
I think Dak is so good because he’s overly confident. He believes he can make every throw. And I think 90% of the time he does do that. You want your quarterback to have that mentality. I just think he’s a person who is very resilient, and he’s determined. I never would bet against him.

That does not mean that Parsons will go easy on Prescott. In fact, he’s itching to sack his former shot caller.
It’s going to be painful. That’s my guy. He was always like a good mentor for me. But you know how it is; he always told me if I ever faced him that it’ll be a great matchup, so I’m excited to see what Sunday brings itself.

Prescott has looked solid, even though the Cowboys are 1-2 after three games. The veteran quarterback leads the league with pass completions with 90 and is fourth in passing yards with 800. He’s also thrown three touchdowns and three interceptions.
