After win over Giants, Micah Parsons gives it back to people who ruled Cowboys out of the season

The Cowboys maybe 5-7 but Micah Parsons will not stop until he drags them over the finish line and that's reaching the playoffs.

When Micah Parsons plays well, the Dallas Cowboys tend to play well. Since Parsons returning to the team after recovering from an ankle injury, the Cowboys have won back-to-back games against divisional opponents.

In Week 12, the Cowboys defeated the Washington Commanders, and then on Thanksgiving week, they secured a 20-27 victory over the New York Giants, ending their search for a home win.

Parsons recorded a dominating performance against the Giants offensive line. The All-Pro edge rusher had 4 quarterback hits, 2.0 assisted tackles, and 1.5 sacks on Drew Lock. The FOX Sports panel judged Parsons as the player of the game and invited him to take part in the turducken eating tradition for the winners.

FOX’s Erin Andrews spoke with the 25-year-old before presenting him with the trophy. Andrews questioned what changed for the Cowboys in the past couple of weeks to go on a two-game winning streak.

Everybody counted us out. We know who we got… Enough is enough, what we can do here, and I believe in every one of these guys; I believe we are gonna turn around and make a run.

Micah Parsons said

Parsons being healthy helped improve the Cowboys’ blitz. He applied six pressures in the last two games with five QB hits. The Pro Bowler revealed that he was ready after hitting the 90% recovery mark because the team needed him.

There have been a lot of trash talk out there and what difference can we make and we still got some guys coming back from the chamber… So, I am telling you right now WE COMIN!!!

Micah Parsons declared

The win improved the Cowboys’ record to 5-7 with five games left to play in the regular season.

Micah Parsons may drag the Cowboys into the playoffs

The Cowboys lost every game when Parsons was in rehab and looked certain to miss the playoffs. To rub salt in the wound, quarterback Dak Prescott is out for the rest of the year, handing the quarterback duties over to Cooper Rush.

Many believed the $60 million/annual man’s absence basically ended the Cowboys’ campaign. However, Parsons refused to tank. Rush since then lost one game (against the Eagles) but won the next two.

With this string of wins, they have a slither of hope of making it via the super wild card round. The journey will not be easy for Jerry Jones’ men.

They must win every game, which includes the Bengals, Buccaneers, Commanders, and Eagles, to join the likes of the Lions, Packers, and Vikings in January football.
