Myles Garrett delivered a shock to the Cleveland Browns by requesting a trade from the team. The star defensive end intends to join a team capable of contending for the Super Bowl. This news has resulted in NFL GMs scrambling to explore their options and give Cleveland a package too good to refuse.
One team that will greatly benefit from the addition of Myles Garrett would be the Dallas Cowboys. Irrespective of the season they had last year and their new choice for Head Coach, their defense is their strong suit. This idea sounds great to Micah Parsons who is interested in the prospect of sharing the defensive line alongside the most dominant player at the position.
In an interview with Bryant McFadden, Micah Parsons shared his thoughts on Dallas trading for Garrett. “Honestly I’d like to see him in Dallas but I don’t know if we got the money for him.” The host asked the linebacker if he would be willing to take a pay cut to facilitate a Garrett trade. Parsons was also willing to take a lower paycheck to get Garrett on board. However, there are other conditions.
Oh 100%. Would he take less too? We would definitely have to make that happen. As long as he let’s me be a little higher than him, I’m younger…He wanna be with us too.

Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons would team up to be an elite defensive pairing
The linebacker, who is owed a new deal in the off-season will still expect to be paid higher than Garrett because he is younger and it means his ceiling is farther up. Micah Parsons confidently said that the defensive end wants to be on the Cowboys and he enticed him with the prospect of not having to pay state taxes if he moves to Texas.

A trade of this magnitude would shake things up in a positive direction for Dallas. If Jerry Jones is serious about making a big splash then this is his chance. A defensive front with Micah Parsons and Myles Garrett would make the Cowboys’ defense better than they are and by god, they are good.
However, Jerry Jones tends to stay away from trading for big-time players. The prospect of giving up draft picks and key players does not sit well with him. This is why the possibility of Parsons and Garrett teaming up is slim to none. Dallas will look to improve its roster by drafting players and developing them.
