It’s been three years since Michael Bisping retired. “The Count” can still be found in the ringside, although as a commentator. The Englishman enjoyed an illustrious career, beating the great Anderson Silva once, and at UFC 199 he also became the first British fighter to win a UFC championship after beating Luke Rockhold. To this day, he still remains the only British winner of a UFC title.

Just 18 months after winning the UFC middleweight championship, Michael Bisping retired from the sport, following losses to Georges St-Pierre and Kelvin Gastelum ,which also saw him lose his championship to Georges St-Pierre.

More recently, Bisping took to Twitter saying that he would like to run back the Georges St-Pierre fight.

In a recent interaction with fans on Twitter, Michael Bisping was asked which fight he could do over. Bisping replied, “GSP“. Bisping was just one successful title defense old when he took on Georges, who defeated him via. technical submission in the third round.

A user named Adam asked Bisping if he would have retired that night, had be beaten GSP. To which Bisping replied, “Yes“. It is to be noted that Bisping then went on to face Kelvin Gastelum just 20 after his fight with GSP. Bisping badly lost the fight against Kelvin, via knockout in the very first round, ultimately retiring in the aftermath.

A lot has happened since Michael Bisping’s retirement; the middleweight division is now being dominated by the “Last Stylebender” Israel Adesanya. Georges too has retired from the sport. But, who do you think will win if there was a rematch between Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre?
