Dustin Poirier might don the red “War” cap, and Max Holloway might be the new BMF at the 155-pound mark. Meanwhile, Islam Makhachev might be the ultra-discipline brawler with proper cultural appropriation. However, it’s Michael Chandler scurrying the dark lanes of revenge these days. Even if he never gets another chance to square off with Conor McGregor, he’d at least have some prime disses.

‘Notorious’ and Michael Chandler were to return for UFC 303. However, McGregor chose to withdraw due to a sudden toe injury. While top brass did manage to salvage the card, Chandler’s future after two years of waiting is in limbo. While he took the high road at first, he’s gearing up for revenge. As such, he insulted a new video of the Irishman by referencing the pinky toe injury.

But show us the bare foot knuckles…

Conor McGregor has been on a bit of a Bare-knuckle spree lately. His reaction to Ruben Warr’s 6-second KO at BKFC Fight Night Pechanga to co-hosting the inaugural BKFC Spain conference remains a prime example. He even ‘fired’ Mike Perry after losing to Jake Paul. McGregor even posted training bare-knuckles himself on X, which irked Chandler enough to demand a similarly sturdy toe.

‘Mystic Mac’ recently assured Chandler that he’d be back by 2024 end. Dana White has said he won’t bill another mega event until McGregor is fully healed. This parry and shadow effort is a good step in the right direction for McGregor. But bare-knuckle? McGregor Sports & Entertainment are equity part-owners of BKFC, but his obtuse fascination with BKFC is something else. As of now, he has his mind elsewhere.

Conor McGregor can’t tire of Mike Perry’s walkout song

Michael Chandler’s problems are “Michael Chandler’s” problems. ‘Notorious’ has his own tune to live up to. Conor McGregor recently co-founded Greenback Records, a multi-genre record label with industry business partners Richard Buck and Julian O’Brien. There are some leaps on that front.

Seemingly, McGregor and Greenback Records have signed on with rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony™. Comprised of Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone, it was formerly known as B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e. The group came up in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio. In late 1993, the group signed to fellow American rapper Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records.

After many group albums, McGregor now imparts the teaser of their first outing under the Greenback Records banner. Is this why he went viral recording soundbites? Or was it for his Hitman 3 – Celebrity Elusive Target cameo? One never knows. More to it, Perry walked out to Bones Thugs N-Harmony’s 1994 cult-hit single, ‘Thuggish Ruggish Bone’ against Jake Paul. The bombastic Irishman couldn’t be happier.

After the fight went disastrously for Perry, McGregor naturally went ahead and, as usual, deleted his note of appreciation. However, his feats with the first-ever major Irish record label and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony™ will continue for now.
