Recently, there was some controversy surrounding Raw commentator Pat McAfee. He was added to the latest WWE 2K24 DLC pack alongside the other members of “The Pat McAfee Show” team. However, they faced significant backlash on social media for being added as a DLC pack before other stars. In light of the controversy, WWE veteran and fellow commentator Michael Cole has also spoken out against it.

The legendary commentator took to X and took a shot at his partner, Pat McAfee. Michael Cole stated that he couldn’t believe he and his “dumb” group of friends were included in the game. The DLC pack features AJ Hawk, Boston Conner, Darius Butler, and Ty Schmitt, all alongside McAfee with a usable football.

The former NFL star heavily promoted his DLC pack on his show. However, things took a turn for the worse when one of the members, Ty Schmitt, disrespected and trolled WWE fans. Schmitt said that nobody wanted to play with the rising NXT stars and called them losers. They, along with McAfee, faced huge backlash for laughing off his insults and appearing to disdain being part of the WWE family.

The 37-year-old star said that his inclusion in the game was justified because of his WrestleMania matches. He also stated that he earned his place in WWE when he got stunned by the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin. The banter between Cole and McAfee has always been fun to watch, whether it’s during the show or on social media.
