Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens in an intense bout for the Undisputed WWE title at the Bash in Berlin PLE. Some might say The Prizefighter’s emotions got the better of him, as he refused to hit his friend while he was down. With that settled, veteran commentator Michael Cole announced a major rematch for The American Nightmare’s next title defense.
The name in question is none other than The Bloodline leader, Solo Sikoa, who warned about taking the title from Cody Rhodes. After earning a hard-fought victory in Germany, Cole announced that the 31-year-old star would get his rematch for the Undisputed WWE title after losing in his first attempt at SummerSlam.
The match between Rhodes and Kevin Owens was a roller coaster ride, as both focused on winning the title rather than making it a friendly battle. At one point in the match, the 40-year-old veteran had a chance to win the world title after a long time but hesitated slightly. This allowed the champ to capitalize, as he hit a final Cross Rhodes to retain his title.
Meanwhile, Sikoa has been destroying with his Bloodline since WrestleMania XL. He asserted that it didn’t matter who won; the title belonged to him and him alone. With Roman Reigns back in the mix as well, it will be intriguing to see who walks out as the Undisputed WWE Champion at Bad Blood.
