One of the points the 40-year-old has always tried to make is that veteran media personnel are extremely critical towards current generation players. He believes they use the logic that players of the past were better than those playing now, just to keep past greats at the top of any argument.

The Lakers superstar ruffled some feathers when he made an outlandish claim. He claimed that Giannis Antetokounmpo would score 250 points in the 70s. The player in question himself has tried to downplay that, but members of the media were not so forgiving.

Since then, they have been on a tear, calling out James for insulting past greats. They also gave instances suggesting current gen players would have struggled against the physicality. But basketball great Michael Jordan thinks at least LeBron James will not.
