Michael Owen gives his prediction for Chelsea vs Burnley
Chelsea will be facing Burnley in the Premier League next in what will be Thomas Tuchel’s second game in charge of the Blues. His first game against Wolverhampton Wanderers ended in a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will be looking to capitalise on the Burnley game to progress forward in their run for top four. Cesar Azpillecueta earlier said that they can still achieve champions league football.

Despite of Chelsea’s poor run of form in recent games, Michael Owen backs them to win 2-0 against the clarets. Burnley are an extremely frustrating and rough team who are bound to cause problems for the Chelsea defence.
Kai Havertz looked to play much more freely in the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers and will look to build more confidence. The German international might be in a better situation given Thomas Tuchel’s arrival.
However his teammate Timo Werner spent his time on the bench. Werner needs to be more clinical in front of goal and Thomas Tuchel acknowledged that. He believes the number one priority at the moment is to increase Timo Werner’s confidence and put a smile back on his face.
Thomas Tuchel would’ve hoped for a better result in his first match as Chelsea manager. However, he was only hours into the job prior to Wednesday’s 0-0 draw at home to Wolves, so he should have his players better drilled ahead of this.
Burnley are turning into ‘smash and grab’ specialists, however, with a few days training now under the new managers belt, I think Chelsea will have enough to get the points.
