Michael Porter Jr. has been on a tear lately, using his podcast and that of others to speak his mind. The 27-year-old has always felt like he has something else to offer other than the usual basketball-related topics.

While on the One Night with Steiny podcast, he talked about how players would be tempted to fake injuries to help their ‘homies’ make some money.

The now Brooklyn Nets star had initially said on his podcast, ‘Curious Mike‘, that his brother, Jontay Porter‘s, gambling addiction was a vice. After that, he went on to reveal his own ‘vice’, which is women.

While on One Night with Steiny, he spoke about the subject of women, and when asked what he looks for in a woman. Then he went on to say how he uses a test to figure out a woman’s character.

I need to see a little bit about their, like, beliefs. So, I’m not saying I’m a misogynist or anything, but I’ll throw on some Andrew Tate and see how they react… I’ll bring up, like, conversations and play devil’s advocate just to see how this girl, like, thinks about certain things.

Michael Porter Jr. went on to say that since he likes the particular woman, he uses Andrew Tate‘s controversial clips to understand how that woman reacts.

That is a way to see how they are wired, and that gives him a good idea what to expect from the said woman down the line. The cast of that podcast understood that the NBA champion wants to protect his time and money, especially with the way some women are around basketball stars.

Fans lose their minds listening to Michael Porter Jr.’s ‘test’

It so happens that basketball fans are used to hearing some wild things that come out of athletes. Then there are those one-of-a-kind athletes in every major sport who think he or she is different from the others.

The NFL has Aaron Rodgers, and so far, fans have felt Kyrie Irving is the NBA’s king of the controversial opinions. But after this Andrew Tate ‘test’, fans are starting to believe that Michael Porter Jr. is a step above the superstar point guard.

Those fans replied to this clip, lambasting the Missouri star for not having a grip on reality. They feel that using controversial clips from a misogynistic figure would generally bring out similar reactions from women.

They believe MPJ is losing the plot when it comes to women. Fans also believe he is either too cynical or cannot understand women properly. Check out examples of those reactions below:

Michael Porter Jr. is building quite an image of himself as he looks to start a new chapter in his life as a professional basketball player. Ironically, he is speaking his mind similarly to how former Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving did in New York.

Michael Porter Jr. wants to help Nets become winners

Michael Porter Jr. is one of the most covered athletes among the superstars currently playing for one of the New York sports franchises. His mind is set on helping the Brooklyn Nets become competitive and establish themselves as a major franchise in the Big Apple.

Helping rebuild this program, being a winner, and having won in Denver for so many years, it would be dope… I know Jordi doesn’t want to lose. I know him very well. I’m excited about that.

Michael Porter Jr. said on the latest episode of Curious Mike

The 27-year-old knows he will be the veteran leader on a young Nets team. Which means the youngsters will be leaning on his championship-winning experience to grow both individually and as a team. The Nets are using the draft to return to competitiveness.
