35-year-old WWE star breaks character to praise Nia Jax’s recently concluded Women’s Championship reign on SmackDown

On the first SmackDown episode of 2025, Nia Jax‘s WWE Women’s Championship reign came to an end. Following an enthralling encounter against Naomi, Jax’s friend, Tiffany Stratton, cashed in the MITB contract on her. Surprisingly, several female stars sent messages to Jax after she lost her title. Amongst them was Michin, who broke character on social media.
Taking to X, the 35-year-old star praised Jax for her dominating championship run. Despite failing to defeat her a few months back, Michin didn’t hesitate to give The Irresistible Force her flowers. Also, Michin acknowledged the new Women’s Champion. For months, Michin had feuded with both Jax and Stratton. This culminated in a title match between the former Mia Yim and Jax in late August.
In her first championship defense, Jax defeated Michin in a Street Fight on the SmackDown episode in Berlin. Other than the former Retribution member, the Samoan wrestler also defeated the likes of Bayley and Naomi. More importantly, Jax established herself as a top star in the women’s division.

Since returning to WWE in 2023, Nia Jax has proved her critics wrong. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion improved massively inside the squared circle, squashing her reputation of being an ‘unsafe worker.’ WWE rewarded Jax for her performances with a Queen of the Ring win and second Women’s Title reign at SummerSlam.
Tiffany Stratton’s internal status following cash in on Nia Jax revealed
Tiffany Stratton’s Money in the Bank cash-in made for one of the most memorable WWE moments in recent history. Without a doubt, the crowd being fully behind The Center of the Universe helped in creating an exciting feeling for those watching at home.
Due to her undeniable popularity, many felt that Stratton was now a babyface. After all, she had only attacked Nia Jax with the briefcase after facing weeks of abuse from the latter. However, WWE doesn’t view the situation and Stratton’s character in that light. According to Dr. Chris Featherstone, Stratton has not yet been listed as a babyface on the internal roster.

This has prompted fans to speculate what WWE has in store for Stratton’s character following the Women’s Title win. It needs to be noted that the 25-year-old star had also attacked Bianca Belair and Naomi prior to cashing in. Nonetheless, fans are eagerly waiting to see what the new WWE Women’s Champion has to say on the upcoming SmackDown episode.
