Regardless of being a face or heel, superstars receiving negative reactions from their fans is nothing new. Sometimes, wrestlers fail to connect with fans or are criticized for other aspects of their work. Meanwhile, wrestling fans taking things overboard isn’t unheard of, either. Hence, Michin decided to stand up to the WWE Universe and made a heartfelt public announcement.
Michin reminded fans that professional wrestlers break their bodies for fans’ entertainment and for their love of the game. She emphasized the effects injuries can have on a wrestler’s mental state. Lastly, she asked the WWE Universe not to make fun of someone’s injury or wish for them to get injured.
It is unclear what led her to make this statement. The former ROH star may have faced distasteful comments in her own career, and it may be a personal pain point for her. However, these could also be with regards to another superstar receiving a lot of hate or someone who has recently been injured.
Dont make fun of someone’s injury/wish for an injury. Be better.
Michin on X
WWE has seen a plethora of injuries over the past few months. Huge names such as CM Punk and Charlotte Flair have missed out on huge matches due to injuries. Her fellow NXT Superstar Tyler Bate also recently underwent surgery for a torn pectoral muscle.
Michin may be shifting to SmackDown following a loss to Jaida Parker on NXT
Michin had been involved in a feud with Jaida Parker over the past few weeks on NXT. The two butted heads at NXT Battleground, where they competed to become the inaugural NXT North American Women’s Champion. Their rivalry eventually transcended to weekly episodes of the show. Finally, they settled their differences in a Street Fight match, won by the 25-year-old.

The match was widely appreciated by fans for being thoroughly entertaining and for putting Jaida Parker over. During the match, Mia Yim participated in a highly dangerous spot, diving face-first into several steel chairs.
Yim has completely transformed herself with her stint on NXT. There is a high likelihood that she will soon be permanently moving back to SmackDown, where she was originally drafted. She has already been inserted into a major storyline with the WWE Women’s Champion. On last week’s episode, she saved Bayley by attacking Nia Jax with a kendo stick.
