This week’s Raw witnessed the farewell of popular WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin. Moments after it was revealed that Irivn was set to bid adieu to WWE, it was announced that she was going to be replaced by none other than Lilian Garcia. WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley looked quite happy with this news as he shared his excitement through a social media message.

Taking it to Instagram, Foley posted a story to welcome back Garcia to WWE. He said that he was delighted to see his good friend back in the thick of things on Monday Night Raw. Although there was no mention of Samantha Irvin, it seems like the Hardcore Legend had no issue seeing the 58-year-old star as a replacement for her.

It has been a heartbreaking update for many fans to see Irvin leaving WWE. She had a unique contribution to the programming in the past three years. There has been buzz that her real-life partner Ricochet being in AEW could be a possible reason behind her sudden departure from the company.
