Middlesbrough vs Tottenham Hotspurs: Middlesbrough hosted Spurs in the 5th round of the FA Cup at Riverside Stadium.
Surprisingly, Middlesbrough enjoyed more possession and looked organized in their shape. Spurs looked rusty with loose passing and poor finishing. With both the teams failing to score in the stipulated 90 minutes, the game went into extra time.
Josh Coburn smashed one past Hugo Lloris in the 2nd half of ET to give Middlesbrough a quarter-final berth in the FA Cup.

Joe Lumley (8/10): Lumley made a couple of smart saves to keep an all-important clean sheet in the game.
Anfernee Dijksteel (7.9/10): The Dutch was great in the backline as the 3 in the back worked in tandem to not let any goals creep in.
Dael Fry (7.6/10): Fry made some wonderful challenges in crucial moments as Middlesbrough kept it compact at the back.
Patrick McNair (8.2/10): The center back had a remarkable game as he made important last-minute tackles and held Spurs forwards at bay.
Isaiah Jones (8/10): Jones’ quick feet made life hard for Spurs defenders. He successfully completed 4 dribbles- most in the match.
Matt Crooks (8.5/10): Crooks headed an unmarked corner off target in regulation time. But his assist to Coburn was the most impactful part he played.
Jonathan Howson (8.8/10): The skipper was exceptional in the midfield. His passes were perfect and he had the most tackles in the match- 5.
Marcus Tavernier (8.2/10): Tavernier partnered well with Howson in the midfield and orchestrated the passing well.
Neil Taylor (6.7/10): Taylor looked a bit out of touch as his wing play was not up to the mark and he was subbed off in extra time.
Duncan Watmore (6/10): Apart from a few runs behind defenders, Watmore didn’t have much to do with the ball.
Andraz Sporar (6.6/10): Sporar took some shots but did not have adequate quality in finishing.

Folarin Balogun (6.6/10): The Arsenal academy graduate had a good game as a substitute, creating a couple of chances.
Marc Bola (6.1/10): Bola didn’t have a great game, but he did his role alright.
Josh Coburn (7.5/10): Coburn was the super sub as his goal was the headline of the match, winning the game for Middlesbrough.

Hugo Lloris (7/10): Lloris made quite a few saves and even came out to sweep out balls, but he couldn’t keep out Coburn’s shot.
Cristian Romero (5.8/10): Apart from getting booked for losing his cool, Romero’s impact on the game was negligible.
Eric Dier (7.3/10): Dier defended his box well. He took a brilliant free kick which was saved by Lumley.
Ben Davies (7.3/10): Davies started as a center back, switched to left back and was later subbed off in extra time. He did his job well in the positions he was put in.
Matt Doherty (7/10): Doherty missed the biggest opportunity of the first half as he hoisted the ball high in front of an open goal. He carried his defensive duties alright though.
Harry Winks (6/10): Winks was totally absent in the field as he was not in the middle of anything and did not have a moment in all 120 minutes.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (7.8/10): Hojbjerg was the only Spurs player who looked like he wanted to impact the game. He recovered balls and pressed hard when not in possession.
Ryan Sessgnon (6.1/10): Sessegnon had a dull match on the left flank as he could not produce any crucial passes or crosses.
Dejan Kulusevski (6.1/10): The Juventus loanee was not at his usual best and lost many 50/50s and duels.
Heung-Min Son (5/10): Son had one of his worst games in a Tottenham jersey as he never looked like scoring. He had 4 shots on target but all of them were easy saves and he could have done better.
Harry Kane (6.5/10): Kane had a physical game involving in many duels and winning them. He had almost scored for Spurs, but it was ruled off by the linesman.

Steven Bergwijn (6.4/10): Bergwijn was a good substitute as he brought some fresh energy into the pitch, but he could not influence a goal.
Emerson Royal (6/10): Royal had a decent game, but him being out of position played Coburn onside leading up to the goal.
