American tennis great Mike Bryan has a lot of confidence in Coco Gauff ahead of the North American hard court swing. She has been a rising star in US tennis and proved her worth by winning the US Open last year.

Unfortunately, Gauff has not lived up to her standards so far this year. She has failed to make it past the semifinal stage and will be hoping to do better when the American leg of the season gets underway.

With the Paris Olympics just around the corner, Gauff will be hoping to win her country a medal in her debut Games. Mike Bryan believed that she had a lot to prove to the world.

We obviously felt it was one of the biggest tournaments during our careers so just to see the excitement in all the guy’s faces when they are there, so they are going to soak in the experience, which will hopefully drive them to try and make a run for a medal. Getting an Olympic medal transcends tennis and it’s really cool. We’re excited about it.

Bryan is set to be a guide and mentor for the American tennis team at the Paris Olympics. At the Summer Games, Gauff will be joined by Danielle Collins, Emma Navarro, and Jessica Pegula in the singles. The men’s team includes Taylor Fritz, Chris Eubanks, Tommy Paul, Rajeev Ram, and Marcos Giron.

Coco Gauff to lead 2024 US Open entry list alongside Iga Swiatek

American youngster Coco Gauff had a decent run at the Wimbledon Championships. She managed to reach the fourth round where she lost to Emma Navarro. She would look for redemption at the US Open, the season’s final Grand Slam.

Gauff won her maiden Grand Slam at her home Major last year, making her the first American woman since Sloane Stephens in 2017 to clinch the title. Iga Swiatek and Gauff are set to lead this year’s draw, which will also include former US Open winner Naomi Osaka.

While Swiatek will look to bounce back after her Wimbledon disappointment, Gauff will be hoping for her best result this year by successfully defending her title.
