The Buffalo Bills kept their early-season momentum with a dominant divisional triumph over the Miami Dolphins, pushing their record to a perfect 3-0. Josh Allen was nothing short of electric, completing 22 of 28 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns to ignite the home crowd in a thrilling victory.
Josh Allen had 298 career touchdowns, including postseason, heading into the game. The three at Highmark Stadium shot this figure to 301, making him the fastest NFL player to cross the three-hundred threshold.
Allen surpassed the record held by the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, who reached the mark in 128 games, by one game. He also became the first quarterback in league history with 200 or more passing touchdowns and 50 or more rushing touchdowns in regular season.
Allen’s incredible performance has received accolades from several media personalities. Mike Greenberg, made a bold statement about Allen while discussing the Bills’ TNF win over the Dolphins on a recent episode of Get Up.
Greenberg, 57, didn’t hesitate, nor did he break. The ESPN host bravely claimed that no other quarterback in history has performed the duties of the position as good as Allen. He added that Allen has an insane ability to command and control the different aspects of the game.
No one has ever played that position better than Josh Allen plays it. He’s not the greatest player ever. You tell me who plays the position better than he plays it. You can’t be better than Josh Allen. Josh Allen does everything. His command of what he’s doing in the game right now is ridiculous.
"No one has ever played [quarterback] better than Josh Allen."

Greenberg noted that the lack of silverware is the sole reason he or the media doesn’t promote this proposition. However, Greenberg’s claim was immediately met with disagreement. Bart Scott, a former linebacker and a co-panelist on the episode, brought out Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson as soon as Greenberg searched for a counterpoint.
Josh Allen ties for 6th-fastest to reach 200 career TD passes
Josh Allen overcame Patrick Mahomes to become the fastest to reach 300 career TD passes. He also entered an elite list of the most fastest players to throw 200 career touchdown passes, tying for the sixth position.

In his 114th career game, Allen tied current players Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, and Dak Prescott. Patrick Mahomes was the fastest to do so in 84 games. Dan Marino and Aaron Rodgers also completed two hundred touchdown passes in under 100 games, completing in 89 and 99 games respectively. Peyton Manning and Brett Favre both have thrown for the same in 106 games.
Allen, 29, needed three touchdown passes to reach 200 for his career and hit the mark with scoring throws to Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes, and Khalil Shakir, who hauled in the 200th late in the fourth quarter. Earlier, his touchdown pass to Kincaid also marked his 300th total touchdown, counting both passing and rushing scores in regular-season and playoff games.
Such success against the Dolphins is nothing new for Allen. In 15 career meetings, he has produced 45 total touchdowns, 40 of them passing, his highest totals against any team. He has compiled a 13–2 record, including an unbeaten 8–0 at home.
The victory also saw the Bills close in on their rivalry record. The Dolphins were ahead with 62 wins with a 2-game lead heading into Thursday. The Bills cashed in on with the 31-21 win and closed the margin to one.
