Mike Tomlin made his first appearance since stepping down as the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach following the defeat in the AFC wildcard round. Cameras caught Tomlin and his wife, Kiya, cheering on their daughter, Harley Tomlin, at a gymnastics meet at the University of Georgia.
According to a Daily Mail report, #8 Georgia hosted the #2 LSU at Athens a week after taking down Ohio State in their season opener. Tomlin, for a change, spotted UGA gear instead of Pittsburgh’s black and yellow. He looked right at home and smiled throughout the entire event. There was reason to be happy.
Harley, a sophomore, set the best score on the floor. She bagged a whopping 9.825 score with an incredible Arabian double. Steelers content creator Matthew Lucio posted a clip of Tomlin applauding Harley after she nailed her routine.

Super Bowl winner makes a shocking claim about Mike Tomlin’s career following his exit from Pittsburgh
Tomlin stepped down as the head coach of the Steelers after the Houston Texans scored 30 against them in last week’s wildcard game. The Steelers did not fire him, unlike the Ravens with John Harbaugh.

The 53-year-old willingly chose his fate, and he’s enjoying quality time with his family. A recent report indicated that Tomlin won’t be available for the current hiring cycle as he plans to take an extended break. However, his good friend and Super Bowl winner, Ronde Barber, gave a prediction that has the football world shook.
On Wednesday’s episode of “The Ronde Barber Show,” the former Buccaneer and Hall of Fame cornerback hinted that Tomlin may never return to coach another NFL team.
I think he’s [Mike Tomlin] done. I think he wants to be done. Last year, I was in Long Island with him, and he told me then. He said, ‘I think this is my last year.’ And didn’t say anything to anyone else for the entirety of the year.
Ronde Barber said
Rondé Barber is saying Tomlin “Is Done” that he won’t coach anymore. Wow that’s shocking but I’m glad at least he will only be a Steeler as a HC! #Steelers pic.twitter.com/jDWEdTPbXC

Barber showed up for Tomlin’s final game at Acrisure Stadium, a nod to their shared past with the Buccaneers.
I wanted to be there for the last one. Because I was there for the first one when he was here in Tampa in 2001.
Barber quipped
Tomlin spent five years coaching the defensive backs before taking on the role of defensive coordinator for the Vikings in 2006. A year later, the Steelers appointed him as their third head coach hire since 1969.
According to a report from The Athletic, the players were heartbroken when Tomlin broke the news that he was leaving the Steelers. It also cast a shadow on Aaron Rodgers‘ career, who came to Pittsburgh to play for Tomlin. Fans will eventually find out about the state of the roster once the Steelers install a new coach.
