Press conferences are usually heated with rivalries simmering. In a bizarre and completely unexpected moment, boxing legend Mike Tyson was rendered speechless. This was at the press conference for his fight against Jake Paul. The culprit was not a seasoned fighter, but a young kid. He asked arguably the most inappropriate question imaginable.

The scene unfolded at the kick-off press conference for Tyson’s upcoming boxing match against Jake Paul. The floor opened for fan questions after some standard back-and-forth between the two fighters,  That’s when a mischievous kid grabbed the microphone and posed the question. This is what he asked:

For the uninitiated, “body count” is slang referring to the number of intimate partners one has had throughout their life. Mike Tyson‘s immediate reaction said it all. He asked him where his mother was. The once-feared “Baddest Man on the Planet” looked utterly dumbfounded. As for Jake Paul, he was equally at a loss for words. The normally brash YouTuber-turned-boxer didn’t have a snappy comeback.

The unexpected and wholly inappropriate query had press conference attendees laughing in disbelief. The raunchy outburst will surely be remembered as an all-time press conference classic. However, the real mystery is how the young fan’s parents allowed such behavior in the first place. But credit to Tyson and Paul for not engaging in the face of such an awkward situation.

The build-up to Mike Tyson’s boxing match against Jake Paul recently took an unexpected turn. The two had already faced off before. During a recent press conference, the legendary boxer didn’t mince words when describing his current physical state.

Tyson was present at the press conference for his fight against Jake Paul. He was asked about how his body felt as the fight drew near. He revealed that he was extremely sore due to hard training regimens as well as aging. This is what the 57-year-old Tyson stated:

I'm doing great, but my body is sh*t right now. I'm sore, I'm really sore.

The former heavyweight champion’s honesty drew laughs from the crowd. After all, it’s not every day you hear an athletic icon be so unfiltered about the tolls of aging. But Tyson, never one to shy away from brutal truths, seemed unfazed. Mike had regressed to a wheelchair some years back. But his willpower is keeping him standing, ready to fight. The fight is slated for July 20th in Texas. It will be an official eight-round pro bout approved by the state’s boxing commission.
