Mike Tyson is currently 57 years old, and still in remarkable shape. He has been training regularly for the past few years after getting back in shape. Furthermore, Tyson is even in a training camp for his upcoming fight against Jake Paul. However, Iron Mike shockingly revealed that he has been wary about his own health during a recent episode of HotBoxin with Mike Tyson, where rapper Rick Ross appeared as a guest.
As such, during their conversation, Tyson spoke about a psychedelic toad called ‘Bufo Alvarius’ that makes you see God. Iron Mike revealed that he has used the toad 80 times for the psychedelic experience. Tyson then mentioned that it kills the ego, and he has been blessed and has been doing great things. After which, he stated:
I should be dead; I should have some disease and all that s**t; I took a blood test.Mike Tyson via Hotboxin with Mike Tyson
Tyson revealed that he was scared and had even refrained from getting checked up by a doctor. The former champion was quite sure something was wrong with his health. Later, the former champ did a blood test and was “scared to death” because of his paranoia.
The test results showed that there was nothing wrong with Tyson, and everyone told him that he was okay. However, Mike Tyson was still unsure and decided to have a second blood test done. He was sure that he had some disease, but the second result also stated that nothing was wrong with him.
Mike Tyson’s reason for fighting Jake Paul
Tyson’s fight against Paul has caused a lot of concern because of their age gap. Dana White had previously stated that Tyson might have received an offer he couldn’t refuse. While Tyson is expected to get a huge payday from the live Netflix event, the former champion spoke about his actual reason to pursue the fight.
Tyson appeared for an interview with Sean Patrick Hannity on Fox News to discuss his upcoming fight. As such, Hannity asked Tyson if he disliked Jake Paul and was going to teach him a lesson. Iron Mike stated that he intends to teach Paul a lesson but does not dislike him as a person. He then revealed his reason for fighting and stated:
Never for money, only for glory. I would never risk my health for moneyMike Tyson via Fox News
According to Tyson, he is fighting for glory not money. His fight may be an exhibition fight, but he has stated that it will be a real fight.
