Boxing icon Mike Tyson, along with his company Tyrannic, had a deal in the works. It was a deal to promote an online casino and gambling company in 2024 – but terminated the agreement in March for breach of contract. The same day and frame — Tyson announced his Netflix-theme matchup with YouTuber prizefighter Jake Paul. Now, Tyson is the subject of a lawsuit for almost $1.59 million.

Jake Paul has a “big announcement” in the pipeline for January. It will somehow have a bearing on the boxing industry. The most likely scenario is the announcement of his next fight, expected against a professional boxer. That is to say – if the rumors about his free-fighting YouTube crossover bouts are true.
Now, 11-1 with 7 KOs, Paul is advancing to a potential pay-per-view (PPV) treat opposite IBF, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champ Canelo Alvarez. His Netflix venture was panned for its entertainment value; not as much for its streaming reliability though. Now, he teases new, good things after the Mike Tyson fight.

Unsurprisingly, cynical fans buried the 27-year-old YouTuber on social media with a never-ending stream of memes. Memes showing Paul at war with aging celebrities. This includes (but not limited to) Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman and former US POTUS Jimmy Carter! Even Joe Biden is a running prospect.
Legitimate names like Ryan Garcia and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, however, want a piece of the action. He will also make his PFL debut in short order. Additionally, this isn’t the lonesome tease Paul has made in recent times. Paul, the ever-bold boxer, has also teased US Olympic Boxing for the next bracket. January is just a frame of a week away. As such, the new year will give away the next opponent of Paul.
