Tyson was met with a health scare recently. The boxer announced on social media he was not 100% but was ready to fight. However, things seem to have taken a wrong turn. Netflix announced the postponement of the anticipated matchup to a later date.

Netflix revealed they wanted both fighters to have equal time to prepare without any limitation attached to either one. As such, they decided to postpone the matchup, which Paul suggested would garner a 100 million viewership.
Fight fans had criticized Paul for his insensitive remarks right after news of Tyson’s health scare broke out. However, many supported Paul, citing he shouldn’t go easy on the former boxing champion despite the medical emergency.
Jake Paul speaks on the fight postponement
The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight card was shaping up to be an entertaining event. The co-main event was a high-profile rematch between female boxing superstars Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor. Moreover, Darren Till was also on the card against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Moreover, Indian boxer turned influencer Neeraj Goyat was also on the card against Brazilian influencer Whindersson Nunes. The news of the fight devastated Paul. Heartbroken, Paul used social media to reveal his thoughts about it.
We've been working so hard over here, everyone in this camp, and I just feel bad for everyone involved in this event, the whole undercard. This opportunity has been ripped from all of us. But I do value Mike's [Tyson] health first and foremost. I love that guy, have so much respect for him. I want Mike to be healthy. He says he still is going to knock me out, and I bought myself some time, so Mike is still talking over there.Jake Paul via X
Funnily enough, Paul suggested he is in for a closed-door fight if Tyson has interest, particularly as he was trash-talking Paul despite the medical scare. Paul concluded the message, apologizing to the fans but promising an exciting fight on Tyson’s return to full health.
