Milwaukee Bucks break the record for most 3-pointers in a single game against Miami Heat

Milwaukee Bucks finally get their hands onto Miami Heat after beating them ruthlessly by 47 points. The Bucks made 29 3-pointers in this particular game. They scored 29 from 51 from downtown after going for 7 from 38 against the New York Knicks. With Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday leading the charge for the Bucks, scoring 25 and 24 points respectively. The former scored four 3-pointers whereas Holiday scored six 3-pointers.
Milwaukee Bucks’ used 12 out of their 13 players to score from behind the arc. The only player who did not score was Giannis Antetokounmpo. The reigning MVP in particular did not have rememberable match with just 9 points against his name.

The previous record for 3’s in a game was 27, set by the Houston Rockets against the Phoenix Suns on April 7, 2019. Milwaukee’s previous most was 22, against Sacramento on Nov. 4, 2018. The most previously allowed in a game by Miami was 24, on Feb. 5 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
It was the biggest road win in Bucks history, topping the 39-point margin at New York on April 10, 1987. The 47-point margin matched the second-worst loss in Heat history; they lost 138-91 to Pat Riley and the Los Angeles Lakers in the eighth game of Miami’s first season.
Talking about Heat in this game, Tyler Herro scored 23 points for the Heat. The first time he had 20 points within the first half of the game. Miami’s Jimmy Butler missed the game with a sprained right ankle. This deficit of 32 points going into the half time was the second worst in the Heat’s fracnhise history.
