The Baltimore Ravens have experienced great success this season with a solid 6-3 record in the AFC North. Despite the team’s performance, they rank second in their division behind the 6-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. The key to Baltimore’s success has been its offense.
The team added Derrick Henry in the off-season and so far the combination of him and Lamar Jackson have been keeping opposing offensive coordinators up at night. ESPN’s Mina Kimes gave props to their offense and credited them for being the best in the NFL this season.
If there is one team that can beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs, Mina Kimes believes it will be the Ravens.
You do not want to play this Ravens offense…this Ravens offense compromises you as a defense in every way possible. They have a numerical advantage, they have a spacial advantage. Bodies wise, you cannot match with them. What Lamar is doing as a passer from inside the pocket this year and his chemistry with Zay Flowers particularly in that play action passing attack, that is every defensive coordinator’s worse nightmare.

The analyst hailed the growth in Lamar Jackson’s passing game this season. His connection with wideout Zay Flowers has provided a big boost to their offense.
The Baltimore Ravens have the best-ranked offense in the NFL
On total offense, Baltimore is averaging 445.9 yards per game on offense, in terms of passing offense, the team ranks third in the league averaging 254 yards per game and sits atop in terms of rush offense. It is challenging for defenses to figure out a way to prevent the Ravens from scoring because they will burn their opponents on the pass and rushing aspects.

The Ravens have scored at least 35 points in four of their last six outings. Lamar Jackson is leading the league with a passer rating of 120.7 with 20 touchdown throws and just 2 interceptions. A solid backfield with Derrick Henry has made the team unbeatable as the running back has over 1,000 yards so far this season.
This Ravens team can make a great playoff run, however, the only caveat would be if their defense can keep up. For Baltimore, the team’s defense suffered a setback after losing Patrick Queen and Jadeveion Clowney during free agency. The team sits at the bottom of the league while defending against the pass.
