Joe Burrow has been seemingly indicating a lot about what he is going through both as a person and a football player after going through injury, and then returning to a disappointing end to the Bengals’ season.

They were already on the brink of elimination when their superstar quarterback surprisingly returned earlier than expected from his toe turf surgery.

He insisted that his team could still win their division, which would enable them to make the playoffs. But that was too much of a pipe dream, as the Bengals lost their previous two games, the last of which was an embarrassing 0-point blowout.

After that game, Joe Burrow looked ‘depressed’ and seemingly suggested that he might not want to play football anymore. He did reiterate later that he was not referring to the franchise’s lack of effort to build a playoff-caliber team, but most did not agree.

It’s not Joe Burrow’s job to be the GM of the Cincinnati Bengals… I need to see some improvement on defense next year… We don’t talk about this front office, and criticize them the way we should… We should be criticizing them and holding their feet to the fire.

The ESPN analyst believes that if this were a big market team, their local media, as well as their national counterparts, would have piled on the pressure every single day.

Mina Kimes feels the media should support Joe Burrow by criticizing the Bengals’ front office for their lack of effort to help their most important player feel good playing football.

Dan Orlovsky dissects what Joe Burrow has been saying so far

Most of the fans and analysts would agree with Mina Kimes about holding the Cincinnati Bengals front office accountable. With the way Joe Burrow has been speaking off late, it is clear he is sending a message.

He’s not saying this stuff just to share it on a diary… There’s a reality where he’s making a very clear declaration. ‘It’s not going to continue to go this way with me as the quarterback.’

Dan Orlovsky said on Get Up

The former QB thinks the 2-time Comeback Player of the Year is making it clear he is not happy with the way the franchise’s top brass’ decisions so far.

They have a poor defense, their run game is not up to the mark, and their offensive line cannot protect their most expensive player. Orlovsky believes Burrow has been giving out missives so that the front office does what they need to do.

Otherwise, there is a chance in the future that the LSU superstar could force an exit, similar to how another former Bengals No. 1 overall pick QB, Carson Palmer, did.

Ja’Marr Chase claims he has a good relationship with Bengals’ front office

It seems Mina Kimes’ plea for the media to pile on the pressure on the Cincinnati Bengals front office was heard by Ohio-based publications and networks. One of them asked Ja’Marr Chase what he felt about the top brass as well as the coaches.

I feel great about them… I’ve got a great bond with the staff.

Ja’Marr Chase replied

A while later, another reporter followed up with a question about players and why they have been loyal to the front office and coaches. To this, the wide receiver reiterated that he and his teammates have a good relationship with them.

This was on the lines of what Joe Burrow said yesterday about his trust in the front office. It seems the top players are trying hard not to make it too obvious what they truly feel. At least that is what analysts and the media are deriving from both their body language and answers.
