Minecraft Dispenser: How to make it, materials needed and uses!

Minecraft has a ton of items but the most scientific of them are the redstone components and items powered with redstone. The Minecraft Dispenser is a redstone powered block and has its own unique uses in the game.

Redstone Power was the introduction of electricity or a similar power-generating block which could power other blocks that functioned like a mechanical component. The blocks require redstone power to run and without it, they are kind of useless.

Here is the Minecraft Dispenser and we take a look at all its features and how to use it.

The Dispenser is a block that can throw our blocks or any items if powered by redstone and can be both used as traps or for containers and storage managament.

Players can find dispensers naturally spawning in a Jungle Temple in Minecraft. There are two dispensers in there shooting arrows. Players can mine them using a Pickaxe and collect it.

How to make a Dispenser in Minecraft?

Players need the following items to make a Dispenser in Minecraft:

  • Cobblestone x7
  • Bow x1
  • Redstone Dust x1

Players can find Cobblestone blocks by mining underground and it is the same with Redstone Dust which can be mined from Redstone Blocks. Bows can be made following the guide here.

The Dispensers can be used for the following:

  • Dispensers are redstone components and get activated in the initial activation of the redstone circuit. They will dispense one item in them during this and to continuously shoot out items, players need to make a clockwork circuit.
  • The Dispenser also has 9 slots of storage so players can store items in it.
  • A dispenser can be powered by redstone torches, daylight sensors, redstone repeaters and comparators.
  • It can be used as a Trap as it can shoot arrows when activate and hurt players.
  • Dispensers also act different while ejecting different items. Elytra will get equipped, bone meals can fertilize the blocks it is shot at, Splash potions break and give out the effects and fireworks will shoot out and burst into the sky.

Players can make a variety of new mechanism using Minecraft Dispensers and these are some of them.
