Pufferfish are a comparatively chill, relaxed mob. They are passive in nature and don’t attack and engage. Players shouldn’t be worried if they find these creatures as they are very relaxed and anti-hostile in nature. However, players should note that if they annoy these creatures they will be stung and be poisoned.

These mobs can be found in many water bodies in the world of Mojang Studios’ Minecraft. Basically, these mobs can be found in groups of 1-3 in lukewarm ocean biomes. These creatures can’t be found in random lakes and rivers.

How do Pufferfish behave in Minecraft?

Pufferfish are passive in nature, hence once players come close to them they will inflate themselves.his inflation will cause the thorns on its body to stand up and will prick any players that approach it.

Moreover, if stung, poison is applied to gamers for 2-5 seconds. Once players or other mobs go far enough away from them, they deflate slowly.

Usually, Pufferfish are attacked by other underwater creatures such as Axolotls. If the player wants to kill this mob, they can use the impaling enchantment or when they are outside water. Pufferfish are in conflict very often with other mobs.

These Pufferfish are always very passive, unless gamers go close to them or interact with them in a hostile way they will not engage.

Additionally, these creatures are also very strategic and once they sting players, they try to obtain some distance between them. Overall, gamers are just recommended to avoid their stings and strategically deal with them if they want to kill them.
