For the second week in a row, a divisional rivalry ended with a blocked field goal. Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs shut down the Broncos; this time, it was the Green Bay Packers’ turn to do the same. The Packers blocked the Bears field goal attempt in dying seconds of the game.
The Bears looked set to return to winning ways days after firing offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. A successful field goal would have guaranteed to keep them in the playoff hunt.
Bears kicker Cairo Santos placed the ball around the 46-yard mark. Santos hit the ball, but the Packers’ defense made the game-winning play. Defensive tackle Karl Brooks extended every inch of his six-foot-three stature to block Santos’ attempt.
The Packers secured their seventh victory of the season while the Bears, following a promising start, lost their sixth game (four in a row).

In week ten, Chiefs linebacker Leo Chenal blocked Broncos kicker Wil Lutz’s field goal attempt to keep the reigning Super Bowl Champions winning unbeaten streak alive.
Packers kept it tight before the Bears missed field goal to secure a win
Historically, the Packers have dominated the Bears. But the Chicago franchise looked disciplined at home, forcing seven penalties and a turnover. However, their offense did not match the same wavelength as the defense.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams did very little, even though they saw more of the ball compared to the Packers. There were no scores through the air, but Williams set up D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson for a couple of touchdowns on the ground.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love contributed in three touchdowns. He kicked off the scoring through Jayden Reed, which almost did not stand. In the final verdict, the referee announced that the Bears had twelve men on the field, causing a penalty.

Running back Josh Jacobs, who had 18 carries for 76 yards, scored a seven-yard touchdown in the third quarter until Swift gave the Bears the lead once again in the following play.
The only reason the game required a field goal to decide the outcome was due to Jordan Love’s quick thinking with just over four minutes left before the end. Love went deep inside the Bears territory and found Christian Watson open for a 60-yard gain. He then scrambled for a one-yard touchdown to tip the balance in the Packers’ favor.

Santos only needed to convert during the final play for the win, but Brooks made sure the points returned back with the Packers to Wisconsin. The game ended 20-19, and the Packers are now 7-3 after eleven game weeks while the Bears are 4-6.
Love ended the game with only 13 completions from 17 for 261 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Williams completed 23 from 31 for 231 yards along with 9 carries for 70 rushing yards but zero scores.
