“That’s fu**ing ball six”: Aaron Boone acquainting the umpires with a deserving mouthful

Aaron Boone

Aaron Boone certainly feels that the Major League Baseball needs robot officiating as the umpires have no assurance regarding their calls. The New York Yankee manager has been ejected 4 times this year, 3 of them have coming during or after Aaron Judge/Giancarlo Stanton at-bats.

On Sunday night, The New York Yankees were up against the Boston Red Sox when the clash took an aggressive turn with respect to Aaron Boone’s call making instincts. The Major/Minor League Baseball introduced as ‘The automated balls and strikes system (ABS)’ which now seems as the best alternative option for Major League.

The calls by the umpire were seen to be outside strike zone, Aaron Boone could not hold back his emotions, “It was about that at-bat,” told reporters. “Even going back to (Saturday) night, I felt like G’s putting together good at-bats here these last two days.”

It was only a few choice words and actions later, plate umpire Tripp Gibson ejected New York Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone from the Yankees’ 11-6 loss at Fenway Park on Sunday night. It was not only one single wrong call, several pitches that he called strikes where out of the strike zone.

“Calling balls strikes,” Aaron Boone said. “I thought I lot of them were in that at-bat. Tripp, I have a ton of respect for. I think he’s a really good umpire. Jerry, the same down at third. That was just the last couple of nights with G where I felt like the bat’s been taken out of his hands when he’s putting together really good at-bats. Nothing more than that. I think this crew is very good, actually.”

Although it is understood that Boone has two of the tallest players in the league who also are often the victims of inconsistent umpire strike zones – Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton.

Giancarlo Stanton did not hold back from reacting his disbelief. He exclaimed after the third strike, and then while walking away from the plate, he flung his bat and chucked his helmet.
