“Bullsh*t calls”: Aaron Boone’s horrendous ejection after yelling at the umpire

A strike call on Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge in the latter part of the eighth innings seemed to have pushed manager Aaron Boone over the boiling point. After witnessing the umpires make one bad call after the other, Boone was in no mood of letting go of the matter easily. As a result of which, he got furious with the officials only to get himself ejected from the team’s latest showdown.

Many MLB fans have even sided with Aaron Boone after a video suggests that not just one but a series of wrong calls were made against Aaron Judge. Before launching his way out of the plate, Boone could be seen yelling at the umpire present right on top of the action. Yet when there was no action to be taken, Boone decided to launch himself onto the pitch to have no further regrets about the issue.

“Aaron Boone was ejected for arguing the low strikes called on Aaron Judge,” Jon Heyman said. “Boone has been upset about this issue for years, understandably so. Judge is 6-7, many of these pitches are not strikes. Judge is 0-4 with 3 K’s tonight in a rare off game. NYY up 2-0 though.”

Although the New York Yankees were able to register a crucial 2-1 win against the Oakland Athletics, Aaron Boone was firm in putting forward his case for several low balls against Aaron Judge on Tuesday. Perhaps it only goes on the show where all the players get their passion for the game from, and Boone is the best example for all the players to wear their hearts on their sleeves.

The Yankees manager lost his calm against umpire Stu Scheurwater. The 49-year-old tossed his gum in frustration and anger and spit on the field for good measure prior to pleading his case and ultimately be ejected from the game on Tuesday, with the showdown being neck-to-neck in the dire stages.

However, this is not the first time Boone has been seen getting himself ejected in the 2022 season. During the initial weeks of the current season, the 49-year-old was booted from a game against Toronto Blue Jays for arguing strikes called below the same personnel’s knees. A scene which looked quite similar to what fans witnessed on Tuesday.
