Aaron Judge rejoiced the New York Yankees fanbase with his 60th home run of the season in the Yankees’ insane 9-8 comeback win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night. Shortly after that, Aaron Judge was away from the lovely chants that took over the ballpark and had a quiet family moment with wife Samantha Bracksieck, and mother, Patty Judge.

Judge and Samantha Bracksieck were high-school sweet hearts and they got married in December 2021.

“When you talk about Ruth and Maris and Mantle and all these Yankees greats, you never imagine as a kid getting mentioned with them,” Aaron Judge said upon his record nearing Yankees legends. “It’s an incredible honor and something I don’t take lightly at all. We’re not done.”

“He’s zoned in, and he has plenty of at-bats to go,” match winner Giancarlo Stanton said. “When you’re doing something like this, you don’t sit in the moment. It’s like, ‘What can we do next?’ The more he does, the more we’re going to win and the more he’s going to achieve history.”

A magical fact came out when Aaron Judge smashed a home run off Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Wil Crowe, Wil’s great-great uncle, Hall of Famer Red Ruffing, was Babe Ruth’s teammate on the Yankees in the 1930s.

“He did what he was supposed to do with it,” said the 28-year-old Wil Crowe, adding that he wasn’t going to walk Judge who was the leadoff hitter in the inning with a four-run lead. “3-1 count, I’m not going to put him on. I felt like I wanted to go after him. Started away, came back in. He put a good swing on a bad pitch.

Aaron Judge now seems to be in a better position than Paul Goldschmidt to take home the Triple Crown, he now ranks 1st in batting average, no. of home runs and runs batted in, .316, 60 and 128 respectively.
