“We’ll sweep these guys”: Aaron Judge and New York Yankees hot-handed in the last 14 games

Aaron Judge and New York Yankees players
The Bronx, these days, is filled with an array of excitement as Aaron Judge seems to be in a smoking hot form. The New York Yankees seem to win every night with one player standing tall in each game, Aaron Judge, the home run leader in the Major Leagues.
The New York Yankees have won the last 13 of their 14 games. On Wednesday night, they took their 13th victory over the Tampa Bay Rays with a 4-3 score. Aaron Judge extended his Major League lead with his 25th home run and Kyle Higashioka launched a three-run blast to support Nestor Cortes‘ winning effort.
Improving to 30 games over .500, the Yankees (46-16) have won six consecutive games and 13 straight at home, now that is some achievement, their longest winning streak at the current Yankee Stadium. The Yanks haven’t staggered 13 straight wins in the Bronx since June 2-July 1, 1973, a string systematized at the original House That Babe Ruth Built.

It feels like Aaron Judge swings only to hit it over the fence

The entire Yankee team and management had to boost words for their team and their stupefying performance. Aaron Boone (Manager), Aaron Judge, and Kyle Higashioka had a few words with the media.
“What we’ve done so far has been great, but … I think we’re worried about the next game,” Aaron Judge expressed with confidence. “I’ve been saying, that’s what makes this team special. Tonight is over with; we’ll celebrate this, but we’ve got another big one [Thursday] to go out and try to sweep these guys.”
“We have some guys that are having great starts to their season individually, but everyone in that room has contributed in so many different ways,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said. “Defensively, running the bases, out of the ‘pen, starting rotation … I think that gives everyone a lot of confidence going into each day, knowing we don’t have to do it just one way.”
“It feels like Judge and [Giancarlo] Stanton is always just hitting them over the fence,” Kyle Higashioka said. “But there are some days where other people are going to have to step up. We have the kind of team where guys can do that.”
The New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone also reassured the fans that they know such records are “awesome” but they have 100 such games left, said the performances are just drop in the bucket — it’s a good deposit
