With Yankee future in jeopardy, Aaron Judge waits for the final call as he cheers his wife in her 26.2-mile run
Giancarlo Stanton, Samantha Bracksieck and Aaron Judge
Aaron Judge is now officially a free agent meaning he can sign with whomever he wants. Well, that’s not good news for the New York Yankees if they want to continue enjoying Judge’s services. After a not-so-promising end to a season that started quite amazingly for the Yankees, there’s further bad news as nine of its players on the main roster are now on free agency.
With Aaron Judge being one of the top names in free agency, the future looks grim for the No.99 jersey player who has shone for the Bronx Bombers on more than one occasion. Aaron was seen supporting her wife who participated in the NYC Marathon. Judges’ better half – Samantha Bracksieck made her way all through the 26.2-mile course.
Aaron and Samantha got married last year in Hawaii after dating each other for 7 years. Judge was accompanied by another Yankee member Giancarlo Stanton who was also cheering for Samantha and congratulated her after she crossed the finish line while Aaron was spotted hugging his wife.
Skepticism prevails between the Yankees and Aaron Judge over his contract extension
Aaron Judge boasted a 62 home runs record season and is surely the topmost name in the 131-player list of free agents. Aaron’s skills and dominance speak for themselves as other teams are keeping a keen eye on the developments surrounding him. Yankees’ top management has repeatedly held talks all over 2022 about extending the superstar’s contract, providing him with a long-term offer.
With the offseason officially in order after the Astros’ win in MLB World Series, who humbled the Yankees prior to their famous victory, the mystery surrounding Aaron’s future seems to be never-ending. Earlier, Brian Cashman, Yankees GM publicly stated that Judge refused a $213.5 million, seven-year contract extension in the spring.
The friction between the Yankees management and the fans has been ever-increasing, more so because of the team’s ownership issues. Add to it, this Aaron Judge problem, and it seems the New York Yankees have some major problems to deal with to remain on the good side of fans. After all, it is the fans who drive the teams and players. What comes out of this free agency problem for Aaron Judge remains to be seen.
