It seems like Aaron Judge is having the ultimate dream spell in 2022 as he registered his 22nd home run. Moreover, the three-time All-Star became the second player in franchise history to hit 22 homers in the first 53 games of a season respectively. He joined legend Babe Ruth, who has done it twice in 1928 and 1930.

Apart from Aaron Judge knocking a couple of home runners, Giancarlo Stanton registered his 12th homer in three-run first innings. Whereas Anthony Rizzo struck a three-run homer in the seventh for his team. However, the Yankees did survive an off-night from their charismatic player – Jameson Taillon. After this particular 10-4 win over the Minnesota Twins, the Yankees became the first team in the Majors to register 40 wins against their name.

It was New York Yankees’ seventh consecutive victory, showcasing just how brutal and dominant they have been against the Twins in recent years. Being 35-4, when they score at least three runs, it wasn’t all glamorous as the Yankees also committed a season-high three errors but won for the 11th time in 13 games.

“Nobody has to feel like they have to do everything,” Judge said. “We can kind of go up there and just stick to our plan, stick to our approach. Hey, if we don’t get a hit or get the job done that time, I know the guy behind me is going to pick it up.

“We were able to kind of do that tonight, where the bottom of the lineup is picking up the top and then when the top comes back around, we’re kind of picking everybody up. So it was all around a good night.”

Looking at New York Yankees’ dominance in the 2022 season, Aaron Judge led side is currently 40-15 through 55 games. Interestingly, it is the best mark through 55 games since the Seattle Mariners started 43-12 in 2001. Lastly, it is also the first time since 1998 that the Yankees have been able to register at least 40 wins in their first 55 games of a season.
