“He’s coming for the TRIPLE CROWN” Aaron Judge ties The Sultan of Swat with HR No.60, Yankees stage UNREAL performance

Aaron Judge
Aaron Judge is having an offensive campaign to remember, the slugger launched a solo shot to deep left-center field in the bottom of the ninth inning to get to the 60 HR mark. The New York Yankees made their fans witness ‘a once in a lifetime’ 9-8 walk-off win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Alongside Aaron Judge, it was the 2022 All-Star MVP Giancarlo Stanton who crushed a grand slam into the left-field seats four batters later. Judge tied the ‘Sultan of Swat’ Babe Ruth with 60 HRs for New York Yankees.
“When you talk about Ruth and Maris and Mantle and all these Yankees greats, you never imagine as a kid getting mentioned with them,” Aaron Judge respectfully said. “It’s an incredible honor and something I don’t take lightly at all. We’re not done.”
“I haven’t really been thinking about numbers or stats and stuff like that,” Aaron Judge said. “I’m going out there trying to help my team win. At the time, it was a solo shot in the ninth, still down by a couple of runs. But this team, we’ve always had a never-say-die attitude. We fight until the end.”
Aaron Judge targets both Triple Crown and HR Record

Aaron Judge has been having a season for the Yankees’ fans to remember, he now leads the American League in home runs (60), RBIs (128) and batting average (.316). If he turns towards the Triple Crown this season, he would win it for the first time since Mickey Mantle in 1956.
Giancarlo Stanton pulled off an amazing walk-off grand slam letting the New York Yankees celebrate Aaron Judge’s legendary 60th HR, “I kind of lost my mind,” Aaron Judge said. “I was sitting next to [Jameson] Taillon, and we’re going through the at-bat, what he might throw. And we both kind of said, ‘If he hangs [Stanton] anything in the zone right here, he’s going to do some damage.’”
“And sure enough, right when he hit it, that’s a signature Giancarlo Stanton laser to the outfield. So, I had a good front-row seat for that one, and I think the whole team lost its mind and the stadium erupted. That was a pretty special moment right there.”
