The legend of Adolis Garcia continues to grow in the post-season. After being named the MVP of the American League Championship Series (ALCS), he left the world stunned again. He once again flexed his muscles as he hit a walk-off home run in extra innings to stun the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The matchup between these two teams was probably something very few would have predicted. However, they both shut down their critics while producing one of the most memorable games in the postseason. A rollercoaster of a game saw the lead change hands on multiple occasions. In the end, the Texas Rangers came out on top and won the game 6-5.

The Rangers jumped to an early 2-0 lead but were unable to hold it. In the ninth inning, they were trailing by two runs and it seemed all over. Shortstop Corey Seager came up clutch and hit a two-run home run to level it up at 5-5. He was unable to repeat the heroics in the tenth inning.
With the game now in the bottom of the eleventh inning, Garcia connected on a 3-1 pitch off relief pitcher Miguel Castro. The Cuban international was able to generate enough power in his shot to power it toward the opposite side of the field. The fans in the stadium would go into a frenzy as the ball landed, giving the host a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Adolis Garcia breaks MLB postseason RBI record with walk-off home run against D-Backs
The rise of the Texas Rangers has been one of the main stories this season. After finishing the last season with over 100 losses, this year has been a great one for them. While they suffered a slight hiccup at the end of the regular season, they once again found their mojo in the postseason. One person behind this turnaround has been Adolis Garcia, who has now broken the postseason RBI record.

Garcia first leveled the postseason record at 21 with his first-inning knock. This saw him sitting joint-top with David Freese, who delivered 21 RBIs during the 2011 postseason for the St. Louis Cardinals. The Rangers hitter later broke that record with his walk-off home run. He now has 22 RBIs to his name in the postseason, the most by any player in MLB history.

The fans of the Rangers would be hoping he could keep this impressive run going as they take another step to potentially claim their first World Series crown.
