Albert Pujols blasted his 696th homerun jumping to the 4th All-Time leader in the Career HR leader board, he is not tied with Alex Rodriguez. All-time HR leader board now only has Barry Bonds, 762, Henry Aaron, 755 and Babe Ruth, 714 above Albert Pujols and Alex Rodriguez.
President of baseball operations John Mozeliak signed the 42-year-old Pujols to a $2.5 million one-year contract late in spring training, he wondered that the magical experience Albert Pujols have made them go through was least expected at that moment.
“It’s very special,” Albert Pujols said of his elite company in the leader board. “I’m aware of where I am in the history of the game, but at the end of the day, 21 years ago when I made the ballclub, it wasn’t something that I was chasing.”
