“F**king ecstatic”- Albert Pujols joins Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth in the 2200th RBI mark

Albert Pujols has come a really long way, from following Tony La Russa’s in his initial days to to recording a career RBI of 2200. The game played between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday got Pujols to his 2200 RBI mark. Making him the third person in the history of MLB to achieve the 2200 RBI mark.

Trailing behind Hank Aaron with 2297 and Babe Ruth with 2214. In the eighth inning of the game against the Brewers Albert Pujols hit 2200th mark with an RBI double joining Aaron and Ruth to become the third person in MLB history to do so. He also is 4th in line with career home runs at 697.

2022 will be the last we are going to see Albert Pujols in a MLB uniform

As many of the fans know this 2022 season will be the last we are going to see Albert Pujols playing in the MLB. Albert Pujols had decided to call it a career ‘no matter what’. with just 20 games left of the ecstatic Pujols MLB fans are going to miss him. Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said- “there’s impressive, and then there’s unbelievable, and what we are witnessing right now is absolutely legendary.”

With 11 times All Start award, 2 times World Series champion, 3 times NL MVP, NL Rookie of the Year (2001) Albert Pujols is calling it quits. It’s been an impressive career for Pujols, with an incredible innings so far with an average of .266 18 home runs and 50 RBIs. The biggest question MLB fans are eager to know is will Albert Pujols reach his 700th career home runs mark.
