Ex-MLB star Alex Rodriguez spotted with Barry Bonds courtside at Timberwolves game
Alex Rodriguez and Barry Bonds were the centre of attention at the Timberwolves game- and in twitter memes.
Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez definitely attracted quite the attention at Sunday’s Timberwolves Game. Rodriguez is a part owner of the Wolves and is certainly remembered as quite the MLB star during the days that he played. While he was at the game, he decided to sit with quite an interesting personality- and an unexpected one.
Rodriguez was seen sitting with none other than Barry Bonds at the courtside seats on Sunday. The game was in San Francisco, which is known to be Bonds’ ‘backyard’. He played for 15 seasons with the San Francisco Giants and he is definitely tightly knit with the place.
The meeting also became quite the funny one, since both of the players has some things in common. They were both great players whose careers were tainted by PED use. However, both of them have maintained quite a good relationship with each other, and often meet like they did today.

Twitter brutally roasts Alex Rodriguez and Barry Bonds after sighting at Wolves game
The memes from Twitter users, however, were quite the funny ones. There were however, appreciative tweets too, as fans reminisced over the fantastic play the two have had over the years. Yet Rodriguez and Bonds did not manage to escape the wrath of the brutality of Twitter. What might have made it worse is the fact that both of them have had their history with PEDs.
The roasts were brutal, as both athletes have been known for their PED use. Rodriguez was found guilty of using performance enhancing drugs in 2013. As a result he received a 162 game ban in the 2014 season. He has since then deeply regretted all his errors, and wishes that he could take it back.
Barry Bonds on the other hand, had a scandalous PED history. It started all the way back in 1998 and the controversy went on all the way till 2007. The matter is over now, but it has tainted both their careers forever. However, both the players sat together to enjoy the game, and it seems like they will link up again in the future.
