“Never want to follow in his footsteps,” Alex Rodriguez reveals how he’s learning to be a parent citing MLB star’s own TRAUMATIC childhood memories

Alex Rodriguez‘s experience in raising two daughters has made him adept at picking suitable companions for them. During a recent interview with EOnline, the author of “Out of the Ballpark” mentioned that he does not shy away from discussing dating or challenging topics with his daughters.

It’s a great thing that they have chosen to respond with honesty as he has been truthful with them. He made it clear that deceiving your children is out of the question. According to him, their strength is remarkable. Regarding the subject of dating, their eagerness to converse about it is evident, while maintaining an age-appropriate approach.

However, during their stay in his house, he imposes multiple regulations including a “precise curfew” and the requirement for them to wait outside (which has caught their significant others off guard). He mentioned that he had surprised the person he was meeting a couple of times, adding that he stood outside and waited for them. “It happened.”

This is an ingenious approach to maintain their vigilance and concentration. Rodriguez is the father of two daughters, one named Natasha who is 18 years old, and another named Ella who is 15 years old. Both he and Cynthia Scurtis have shared custody of their children. Rodriguez discussed in a previous interview how his father’s departure from their family catalyzed his determination to become a more devoted parent to his two daughters.

“With him leaving me and my family behind, I have consistently held the notion that I would never want to follow in his footsteps.” He expressed his desire to be a present and nurturing father. As soon as he reaches home, he assumes the role of a personal assistant.

Natasha and Ella are blessed to have Alex Rodriguez, celebrated for his illustrious stint at the New York Yankees, as their nurturing father. It is common for A-Rod to make time for his daughter’s company and he regularly uploads their pictures on social media platforms. Natasha, Rodriguez’s older daughter, reveals in the most recent video that A-Rod consistently sends her text messages, even while she is attending college.

Rodriguez spends his time equally between his daughters Natasha and Ella, dividing it between himself and his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. Although they experienced a troubling divorce in 2008, a couple who exchanged vows in 2002 has since overcome their difficulties and remains steadfast in their commitment to raising their daughters together.

Rodriguez expressed his love and support for Natasha on Instagram after she graduated high school in May 2023. He further mentioned including pictures of the entire family during her graduation ceremony.

Rodriguez’s youngest daughter, Ella Rodriguez, was born on April 21, 2008. On social media, Rodriguez frequently expresses his pride for Ella, just like he does for Natasha. It is common to see the two girls accompanied by Jaclyn Cordeiro, who happens to be in a relationship with Rodriguez.
