Alex Rodriguez got dumped by Jennifer Lopez for he could not be trusted
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez got together in 2017 and the news spread like wildfire. The all-star couple later got engaged in 2019 after JLO had divorced the father of her children Marc Anthony. Their engagement took an ugly turn when the rumors of Alex Rodriguez’s infidelity came into existence.
The couple was supposed to married in 2021, however, COVID-19 and the allegations played their part. Was it destiny in terms of COVID-19 that came in between the power couple – Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez?
When Lopez ultimately decided to split with Alex Rodriguez the understood reason was, she couldn’t fully “trust” him. Later a source even added, “She has been pretty miserable and didn’t think it was in her best interests to stay with Alex.”
The couple did issue a statement hinting that they have only outmatched the love for each other, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so, we will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.”

A nearby source stated a detail on Alex Rodriguez and JLo, “Jennifer couldn’t fully trust A-Rod. She tried to work it out, but there were too many issues to resolve.” The source also added, “She knew it was time to call it quits. There were issues when addressing wedding plans and trust issues that she couldn’t let go of.”
The finger directed towards Alex Rodriguez utterly as and when another source cum JLo’s friend was questioned about the alleged cheating allegation, the source stated, “Whether he cheated on her or not, it doesn’t matter… She can’t stand to always live with that fear of being cheated on. Jennifer has had a really hard time and finally thought it wasn’t worth it for her to stay with Alex.”
Although in August 2021, Alex Rodriguez spoke directly to Entertainment Tonight about his relationship, he said: “I had five years of an incredible life and partnership and also with my daughters, we learned so much.”
Also added, “I’m in a great place. I’m so grateful for where God and the light has really put me, and I’m really looking forward. Mostly to see how my girls keep developing.”
The principal cause of the break up was never revealed by the star-studded individuals but was Alex Rodriguez to be blamed entirely? Upon analysis, sources do indicate A-Rod disoriented himself of what could have been a promising relationship with the American star Jennifer Lopez.
Alex Rodriguez is currently dating a nutrition expert, fitness model, and Instagram influencer named Kathryne Padgett on the other hand Jennifer Lopez is happily engaged (AGAIN!) to superstar Ben Affleck, they had gotten back together in July 2021. Ben Affleck previously proposed with a 6-carat pink diamond ring.
