“And it’s a knockout”- Altercation between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves Fans leaves latter rattled

Braves vs Mets

Even while fan rivalry does not benefit any particular team, it is still entertaining to observe. The rivalry is still a common sight at Major League Baseball games. A particularly brutal brawl broke out at Citi Field in New York on Saturday night during a game between the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets. Two Mets supporters, both of whom were wearing Jacob deGrom shirts, completely destroyed a Braves fan.

Jacob is regarded as one of Major League Baseball’s top pitchers, and he has a sizable fan base. So, a brawl broke out between two supporters wearing deGrom jerseys and a Braves fan during yesterday night’s game between the Braves and the Mets. Fans of both clubs can be seen punching one another in the footage. They continue to strike one other even when others are attempting to stop them. “It’s hard to compete against one deGrom, never mind two at the same time.” tweeted podcast host Jared Carrabis with a link to the video. But a Braves supporter did it.

Even though the Braves’ fan did put up one hell of a fight, they did lose against the New York Mets. Braves were defeated 6-2. The New York Mets won both the game and the altercation at CitiField Stadium. It appears that three Jacob deGroms prevailed in yesterday’s game.

According to a user’s post under that video, the two Mets fans were let to stay while the Braves supporter was kicked out. The security at Citi Field appears to be performing admirably.
