“Worst ump by far”- MLB Twitter CRITICIZES umpire Angel Hernandez for another DISASTROUS officiating performance in Giants-Braves game
MLB umpire Angel Hernandez is having a tough time behind the plate as he continues to make mistakes. Fans are now calling for his removal as they grow tired of his errors.

In professional sports, passion, and excitement are always high among the players. To keep them in check, the referees or the umpires are said to be integral members. In MLB, there are several umpires but the most important ones are behind the plate who check for strike and ball. While it is not an easy feat by no means, the officials are expected to deliver proper calls. One umpire who is having a hard time is Angel Hernandez.
Umpires in MLB are also given scorecards at the end to assess their performance. Hernandez currently has the worst record of all officials actively present in the league. He had a poor outing once again as he missed several calls during a recent game between the SF Giants and the Atlanta Braves.
He was reported to have made around twenty wrong calls during the game. The pitch which was well outside and should have been a ball where called a strike. This also led to angry reactions from the players for being wrongly judged.
The Giants suffered the most because of his calls as Max Fried seemingly got away with some poor pitches. Even the commentators took a dig at Hernandez for his mistakes. Fried had pitched the ball way away from the plate, however, he called it a strike, much to the amaze of everyone watching. “Fried fires a strike near the outside corner,” the commentator was heard saying.

Angel Hernandez has been an official with the MLB for a long time. The 61-year-old recently was in the spotlight as he lost his racial discrimination lawsuit against the MLB. Despite this, he has continued to be part of the games and offer his services.
Hernandez had just returned a few months ago to officiate behind the plate. His return though has not brought any sort of amazement to the fans. They have time and again called him out for his mistakes. The fans were once again on his back after the Giants-Braves game and mocked him for his work. Will the MLB take any action against Hernandez for his constant failures, this is something the fans are waiting for to be answered. They have made their intentions clear and do not trust him to properly officiate a game with high stakes. His next appearance will be looked on with interest to see if makes the same mistakes again.
