Winter League Game turned into a messy fight
Baseball- Often we find brawls breaking out during baseball games, but Sunday’s game between two Venezuelan baseball teams reached the top of the charts. With players and fans going at it with one another, the fight stretched out to the dugouts with no signs of stopping.
During the Winter League Game, a fight began between Caracas and La Guaria, as per Barstool Sports. The footage of this bench-clearing fight was later shared on social media by journalist Emilio Materan. Unlike other fights, fans participated in this brawl, as shown in the video.
While a player was being held back by coaches and teammates, he slept passed them and sprinted toward both teams on the ground. The fight slowly reached the stands, when people started taking action in the melee. A few fans are shown throwing water bottles at them.

Baseball Winter League Game turned into fight scene inviting fans to participate
It was quite a horrifying situation, as the brawl continued even after entering the dugout, as fans clicked pictures on it and shouted. A player got on the round after getting punched by the opposing team’s player. Coaches, staff, and players gathered around to stop the madness, as the players continued their hymn.
In the game, La Guaira defeated Caracas by an 8-7 margin. As of now, no particular reason for the brawl is found. It is yet to be revealed why such an incident took place, or if any players got hurt during the time. There’s no update if there were any police interference looking at that situation.
Though brawls are quite common in games, it undoubtedly carries a high risk of injuries which may mark a major backlash to the players. Even recently during the World Series Game 6 victory parade of the Astros, a brawl started. No grave injuries have been noted as of now.
