Clayton Kershaw is a three-time Cy Young Award winner, but on Saturday night, things went south for the veteran pitcher. The Los Angeles Dodgers’ pitcher Clayton Kershaw raised his ERA to 2.66, the Dodgers failed to score in final six frames to help fuel a come-from-behind win for the Rockies. The fans could not believe the twist and turns of the game, Kershaw was pitching a moment ago, and the next moment Manager Dave Roberts was walking on the mound to ask Kershaw for the ball.
“It was a grind tonight,” said Clayton Kershaw, “Overall I thought my stuff was OK, was able to regroup after that [first inning] and get through the next few innings pretty easily. And then, yeah, that sixth inning, felt good about it, it just kind of got away from me there.”

“The two sliders were probably, I thought, well-placed and decent,” Clayton Kershaw added, “But maybe I’d done the same thing too many times. They put good swings on them. Hit them hard. So that was the frustrating part.”
Clayton Kershaw was unable to put away hitters, he had to listening a lot of stressful boos at Coors Field, upon which he said, “I just don’t think about it, just try to make pitches. I’m not gonna let any ballpark dictate how I feel about how I pitched. I’m not that mentally weak. You just got to pitch, and if you don’t pitch good, you got to own up to it.”
