The then Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo got a chance to try his hand at baseball. It was not any casual first pitch, he was invited to throw out the first pitch on opening day before baseball game between the L.A. Dodgers and the New York Yankees.
Although the pitches thrown were completely hap-hazard, CR7 showed off his juggling skills with a baseball. Los Angeles Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, he was the who also caught the first pitch.
The game was won 3-0 by the Yankees when they scored all their runs at the top of the ninth inning. It was scoreless until then as Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and Yankees opposite number Hideki Kuroda showed Cristiano Ronaldo how to throw a baseball with unerring precision.
