Big Papi to launch his own cannabis line

David Ortiz, a former Boston Red Sox player and recent MLB Hall of Famer, is launching a new line of cannabis products. CBS reported that the brand, in collaboration with cannabis company Rev Brands, announced Wednesday that they’re collaborating with Ortiz for a new line of products dubbed “Papi Cannabis.”

Ortiz stated in a statement that he is excited to share the products with others and hopes to introduce consumers to the benefits he has experienced from cannabis. “Once I embraced the flow of the flower everything changed. Cannabis has helped me relax, sleep better, manage stress and heal physically after a lifetime of playing ball, and I look forward to sharing Papi Cannabis and my personal journey to help people understand its benefits.”
