“I knew it hit the wall” Detroit Tigers humiliating themselves after they issued a nincompoop Solicitation Letter
Detroit Tigers
The Detroit Tigers have not been the forced they once used to be in the recent years. From embarrassing defeats to frustrating loss-runs, this franchise wanted to change their fortune entering their 2022 season. The ideal hope was to challenge for a playoff spot, and eventually break the jinx by reaching .500 mark.
However, the reality has been in-turn different as things have not fallen into the right spot for the Tigers. Interestingly, the entire narrative around the Detroit Tigers quickly changed from how good they can be to how bad they are performing. To sum up their misery in a nutshell, things got a little more embarrassing for the Detroit Tigers on Monday after they sent a factually ‘WRONG’ solicitation letter to season ticket holders.
The highlight being that Javier Baez in reality did not hit a walk-off home run on Opening Day for Detroit Tigers. Rather had a walk-off single. “I knew it hit the wall, I thought it hit the glove and then the wall and then he caught it. But it was backwards. It hit the wall then his glove then he caught it.”

The Detroit Tigers trades away Robbie Grossman to the Atlanta Braves for future pitching prospects
“I’m sad, but it’s part of this business,” Ex- Detroit Tiger player Robbie Grossman said. “It’s not the first time I’ve been traded, but I’m looking forward to my new journey in baseball. … I’m excited to get a new start and excited to help the team and do whatever I can to help them win.”
The Detroit Tigers have been playing Robbie Grossman on a regular bases, but with Riley Greene, Akil Baddoo, Willi Castro and Victor Reyes already fighting for at-bats, playing time was unyielding.

He posted 23 home runs, 20 stolen bases and a 114 OPS+ last year, but he struggled to the tune of a .205 average, with two homers, 23 RBIs and a 73 OPS+ this season for Detroit Tigers.
Robbie Grossman probably got a place in the Atlanta Braves roster as he’s batting .364 (28-for-77) with a .999 OPS batting right-handed against left-handed pitching, 203 points above his career OPS off lefties.
