Tatis was not having a good day till this moment. He was hitless, going 0-for-3 in his previous plate appearances. With the Padres leading 2-0 and one out in the eight, he came up to bat. The 24-year-old star would connect pretty well with the ball and slammed it out of the park.

Ever since bursting onto the scene a few years back, Fernando Tatis Jr has continued to charm the fans with his personality. As the son of former MLB player Fernando Tatis Sr., the pressure was certainly on him to deliver. While his suspension over PEDs usage continues to annoy some fans, he has held his ground and continues to be the leading man for the Padres.

Recently he was seen in the same electric mood as yesterday after he stole home against the Orioles. When it comes to hitting home runs, he has missed a couple of them in the past few weeks by inches. He was happy to see one of them leave the yard this time. “Man, about time one of those goes out,he said after the game. Twitter would go into a meltdown as he proceeded to flip his bat after the home run. One user wrote, “Tatis is f***** goated“. Here are some other reactions.
