Joe Kelly showed off some of his impeccable dance moves during a visit to his alma mater on Wednesday.

Joe Kelly, a prominent member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, seems to be having some fun. Recently, the relief pitcher made a stop to his former school and showed off a completely different side of him.
The relief pitcher would make a stop at the Corona High School, his alma mater, along with his wife Ashley. The couple were there on Wednesday to play with the students and present a $10,000 donation to the basketball team.
During the fun activities with the kids, Kelly was challenged to a dance battle. To everyone’s surprise the southpaw agreed to the request and showed off some of his skills.
A video of this would soon go viral on social media. As Kelly tip-toed his way around while dancing, the crowd went wild and starts cheering him. Take a look at the incident circulating on social media below:
According to reports, Kelly was considered an important player of the team during his time at Corona High School. However, he did not start as a pitcher and was actually an outfielder. It was during his time at the University of California where he transitioned from an outfielder to a pitcher. Since then he would go on to become one of the league most reliable pitcher from the bullpen.

The third day of the ongoing Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour 2024 saw pitcher Joe Kelly and his wife Ashley join in on the celebrations. The couple first headed to the 35-year-old’s alma mater before heading to Jack in the Box location in Ontario, California.
At their time in Jack in the Box, the couple took orders, served foods and spent some memorable time with the fans around. In both the events, Kelly was seen sporting his new No.99 jersey as he swapped his previous No.17 with new signee, Shohei Ohtani.
Following this development, Ohtani would thank him and gift a expensive Porsche car to his wife, Ashley. The duo were also reported to be moving around this locations in that car, showing off the gift they received.
As Ohtani prepares for an important season ahead, he has some friendly face in Kelly to support him if something goes wrong. Fans are now eager to see how he gels with this teammate as the Dodgers hope for a strong showing in 2024.
