“Definitely a game changer” Juan Soto trade feud ventured into by the colossal New York Yankees
Juan Soto
Juan Soto, now the Home Run Derby defending champion rejected a 15-year, $440 million contract from the Washington Nationals, which made him a captivating trade bait as the Aug. 2 deadline approaches. The New York Yankees have reportedly entered the race as they recently contacted the Washington Nationals for a potential trade discussion.
The New York Yankees have the best record in baseball, yet the team still might be World Series bound since 2009. They might be looking in for the option to bring in Juan Soto, the generational talent. The Yankees should be able to do this deal, if they are willing to give up most of their very top prospects.
The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports “As I said on @FS1, multiple clubs saying Nats’ ask for Juan Soto is 4 to 5 top youngsters, combo of prospects and major leaguers with low service time. Ten days from deadline, Nats aren’t negotiating, one exec says. A team either shows willingness to meet price, or Nats move on.”

The New York Yankees want in on the alluring Juan Soto trade action
According to recent reports from MLB insider Jack Curry, the New York Yankees have reached out to the Nationals to initiate discussion in making a blockbuster trade for Juan Soto.
“Yankees have reached out to express interest in acquiring Juan Soto. Now it’s a matter of the Nationals telling the Yankees (and other teams) what they want for a generational talent. It’s early in process. Both sides must determine if there’s a match in terms of talent exchange,” Jack Curry reports.

The Yankee star slugger Aaron Judge recently has a discussion over this potential trade, “Juan’s a special player. He’s a special talent all around. I could sit here and talk about everything he does on the field, but he’s also a leader, too, at such a young age… He’s going to help whatever team he goes to win a lot of ball games.”
He added, “I would hate to see him go to a team that we’ve got to play down the stretch. It would be fun to see him be in New York… He’s definitely a game changer.”
